I am very keen to resurrect life drawing as an essential (and enjoyable) activity. It is the best technique that I know for enhancing visual awareness for anyone who works in the visual arts - but not only that, it is also a wonderfully absorbing pastime for anyone needing respite from life’s woes. At its best life drawing can be a wholly expressive art form in its own right, equal to any other medium or mode of creation.
